Programs and Services
Through our programs, the Benedict Center opens its doors and our hearts to individuals in conflict with the law and their families.
Whether we help a single mother learn skills to find a job or we act as the advocates to address inequities within the criminal justice system, our goal is to make community justice a reality in Milwaukee and Wisconsin through:
-
Real opportunities for change to women in conflict with the law through the Women’s Harm Reduction Program.
- Community Advocacy for fundamental systemic change in the criminal justice system
- Outreach programming to men and women in conflict with the law in the community through Restorative Community Service at the Community Justice Day Reporting Center and street outreach to women involved in drugs and prostitution through the Sisters Project.
- Spiritual support to those who are incarcerated through the interfaith Jail Chaplain Program
